Lupin flour is produced from food grade, dehulled, non-GMO lupin seeds. It is yellow in colour and exists in the form of free-flowing powder. As a new natural food ingredient, lupin flour can be effective in the lowering of the glycaemic indexes of food products and can be beneficial for cardiovascular health. Lupin flour is also suitable for dietary fibre and protein fortification in bakery products, noodles, pasta and in processed meats.
Produced in a HACCP-certified plant that is dedicated to the handling and manufacturing of only non gm product, we are able to comply to the strictest European Union (EU) regulation on non gm labeling. We also implement a very comprehensive food safety screening as part of our HACCP program and this includes the screening for pesticide residues, mycotoxins, pathogens and heavy metals in our raw materials and finished products.
